Originating in the 1940s, playsuits, also known as rompers, were worn to the beach, for sports, and for general chilling outdoors in the sun. Seen as one step away from bathing suits, retro playsuits can now be spotted anywhere from fun days out to evening events.

Towards the end of the 40s and into the 50s, floral and Hawaiian prints started becoming popular, and we’ve got some great 1950s playsuits, jumpsuits, and skirts in floral prints and other styles.
